We're excited to welcome Vidya Kanakaratnam to Auquan as our new AI Deployment & Outcome Strategist, based in London.
Vidya holds a Master's in Engineering from Cambridge and spent five years at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth, working across London and New York.
She started as a software engineer before moving into a strategy and quantitative analysis role, where she focused on performance analytics for client strategies. She worked at the intersection of data, engineering, and finance to help teams evaluate investment performance and translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
As AI Deployment & Outcome Strategist, Vidya will work directly with financial institutions to design and deploy AI agents that autonomously complete mission-critical workflows.
This means understanding how credit teams actually work, how portfolio managers make decisions, and how compliance officers assess risk. Then she'll encode that logic into agents that can execute those workflows end to end without human intervention.
Her background in both engineering and finance strategy positions her perfectly for this hybrid role. She understands the technical architecture required to build reliable AI systems and the financial domain expertise needed to ensure those systems deliver outcomes that institutional clients can trust.
